ReplaceD bathroom sink mixer tap and leak in pipework under sink

I contacted Grant at Mr Fix on Sunday night as my bathroom mixer tap would not switch off. He phoned me promptly the ensuing Monday morning and arranged to come out that very morning. We agreed a time and he arrived promptly.

He replaced the tap as agreed but in the process also corrected some plumbing from the original installation. He then advised there was a condensation issue with my pipework under the sink which with further investigation transpired to be a leaking joint, He proceeded to this right and then went on to double check and adjust the pressure on my combi gas boiler as I had mentioned there had been problems with it following the initial leaking tap.

I hope the in depth description above demonstrates how thorough and attentive to his customers Grant is. He takes the time to explain exactly what the fault is and how he is going to address it and it’s clear he really wants to provide his customers the best service out of professional pride and empathy for their situation. I contracted Grant once before in the past and knew it would be the a good decision to call him out again, I am glad I did as he tenaciously resolved all my issues without fuss, not stopping until I was satisfied with the result.

Emergency call out for leaking radiator. It required draining the whole system down,

Grant was able to attend within half an hour and carried out the necessary work quickly and efficiently. He drained down the whole system, isolated the leaking radiator and re-filled the system. We were really pleased Grant was able to attend our emergency call out so quickly and would thoroughly recommend his services. We will certainly be using Grant for any future plumbing work.

Replaced Radiators

10/10. Can’t give enough praise to the work done. I asked for replacement of 4 radiators, the work was done extremely professionally and in great time. The communication surrounding the job was fantastic. Further to this Grant went above and beyond in the work he did and I can honestly say my place was left looking better than when he arrived, he’s also great company and completes his work with a smile on his face. Fixed two leaks beneath kitchen sink.

Came out on an emergency call. Very prompt response. Quickly identified two leaks rather than one, and in a different place from where thought. Worked efficiently and thoroughly, explaining what work was required. Overall an excellent service. Grant was well equipped tool-wise to carry out whatever repairs were required.
Asked Grant for advice on further plumbing issues, and have asked him to return in the New Year to do some further plumbing work. Wish we had known of his business earlier!

Replace shower pump

Grant helped us enormously, as we had a very tight time frame for this job. He guided me on what pump was needed and did a tidy, efficient job (which needed extra pipework too). Hugely grateful, a genuine guy. Would recommend and use again.

Replaced toilet siphon

Clear communication and was able to get a nice quick estimate and booking.

Grant did a great job and was knowledgeable and well-prepared to deal with the additional replacements needed when replacing a siphon. He added a cut-off valve to bring the unit up to regs and demonstrated how all the parts operated.
